By DevManagerAdmin | Apr 09, 2025

TCM conducted interviews with the shareholders of the TCM Group to understand their expectations for the 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 in London. As we approach this milestone event, we gathered insights from key stakeholders about their perspectives, goals, and what they anticipate from this important gathering.

See below our interview with: Shaun Duncan, CEO of the TCM Group.

Share your expectations for the AGM 2025 (AGM London 2025).
Looking forward to seeing our TCM family again in London as we have an exciting program which will encourage debates and discussions in order to make our group even more successful. We expect to have some fun as well with great restaurants planed for our evenings where we will eat and celebrate together. Furthermore as is now traditional at our annual meetings I look forward to enjoying another great evening where we auction off items brought by our members to raise funds for our host’s chosen charity – Faversham Umbrella who at the heart of our hosts community.

Share a remarkable moment that happened during an AGM you attended.
Seeing the benefits gained by our colleagues who attend our meetings for the first time. This face-to-face interaction forges long lasting mutually beneficial business relationships that last for ever and help our members in the marketing of our international services to their client where they can recommend our international partners based on these personal relationships.

Share a funny story that happened to you at an AGM you participated in.
At our meeting in Seoul, South Korea in 2019, as a joke I stated that if we raised a record amount at our charity auction, I would shave my head thinking that I was safe and would keep my hair. Well, that was a misjudgement, and we did raise a record amount for our hosts charity and the next day I went off to have my hair shaved off…….. all for a good cause.

What does the AGM mean to you?
An opportunity to renew friendships and catch up with friends whilst share views and enjoy each other’s company over a glass of wine or beer in a different country. At the same time get to understand the country and city where the meeting is held and get a feel for the culture and environment which is shared with client when back home.

If you could describe the AGM in one word, what would it be?
Fantastic.
