REYKJAVIK, Iceland (TCM Newsroom) — On 12 June 2014, the new TCM office TCM Group Ukraine officially incorporated at the State Registration Services of Ukraine, becoming the 35th full member of TCM Group International.

The Group had taken concrete steps in establishing representation in Ukraine after receiving high levels of foreign claim enquiries against Ukrainian businesses during the recent crisis.

TCM Group CEO Etienne van der Vaeren was persuaded by the professionalism of small group of Ukrainian lawyers – now TCM Group Ukraine’s core legal team – and the consultancy services they were providing on claims in the Commonwealth of Independent States.

In addition to amicable debt collection and mediation, TCM Ukraine offers creditors services in the following areas: domestic and international commercial litigation; criminal investigation into domestic and international financial crimes; domestic and international commercial arbitration; recognition and enforcement of domestic judgments; arbitral awards in foreign jurisdictions and vice versa; and commercial bankruptcy proceedings.

The current crisis has provided fertile ground for service providers specializing in dispute resolution in domestic and international commercial relations. Ukrainian exporters are now in a strong position to collect debts owed to them from foreign clients and business partners – all on a “No win, No fee” basis.
